Guar gum

Guar Gum "TECHGRADE GUM" is a chemical reagent designed to produce a water-based gel in solutions used for hydraulic fracturing and other oil and gas production processes to enhance reservoir oil recovery. Due to its high flowability, it disperses rapidly in the liquid, thereby improving the hydration process and preventing the formation of insoluble lumps.

Products in the "TECHGRADE GUM" line are ideally compatible with borate crosslinkers.
Grades: FH 38-43, FH 43-45, FF43, FF45

After crosslinking, they can maintain high proppant concentrations, ensuring increased fracture width and depth of penetration — key factors for successful production. Guar gum is used as one of the key components of hydraulic fracturing fluid, acting as a thickener that helps transport the propping agent (proppant) into the required zones of the well to prevent fracture closure.

  1. Fast Hydration: Due to its high flowability and high viscosity, guar gum instantly disperses in the solution. This prevents the formation of lumps, ensuring easy and efficient use.

  2. Versatility of Application: Guar gum is used not only in oil and gas production but also in construction, textiles, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and many other industries.

  3. Environmental Friendliness: Made from harmless, high-quality guar polysaccharide, the reagent is safe for the environment and meets modern environmental standards. It crosslinks excellently with borate reagents. It is widely used in industry as a gelling agent, stabilizer, thickener, and suspending agent due to several qualities such as high viscosity, rapid hydration in cold water, stability under high pressure, ease of handling, and environmentally friendly nature.
